The Opportunity
Here at Linear Clinical Research, we specialise in the delivery of clinical trials across a broad spectrum of therapeutic areas. With purpose-built clinical trial centres and laboratories located in Joondalup and Nedlands, our dedicated Laboratory teams are responsible for the processing all biological samples collected throughout our studies and work alongside our clinic teams to process samples in particular timeframes.
We have some really exciting and complex studies commencing soon and are now looking for Laboratory Technicians to join us at our Joondalup lab either on a full-time or part-time basis across a range of shifts including afternoons, evenings and weekends.
As a Lab Technician your time will be spent:
- Ensuring biological samples are received, processed, stored, tracked and shipped efficiently and accurately.
- Monitoring the availability of supplies and consumables ensuring the Lab is adequately stocked.
- Completing study-specific lab documentation in a timely manner.
- Supporting the Laboratory Leads with technical/specialised processing of samples.
- Providing clinic teams with required equipment for sample collections.
Your Experience
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate the following;
- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment with familiarity with basic processing techniques.
- The ability to maintain high attention to detail whilst working across multiple tasks.
- Strong time management with the ability to work towards deadlines.
- A positive, team player attitude with the ability to work well as a team and independently.
