Are you passionate about people, purpose, and community? We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and driven individual to join our team as a Welfare and Wellbeing Officer, supporting the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Program.
In this unique and rewarding role, you'll be at the heart of the onboarding journey and ongoing pastoral care of our internationally sourced employees, helping them feel supported and set up for success in their new environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Be the go-to support person for new PALM employees – helping with everything from accommodation and transport to banking and communications.
- Work closely with the Pacific Labour Facility (PLF) to ensure smooth arrivals and compliance.
- Keep internal teams informed on resource planning, arrival updates, and onboarding needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide guidance and resolve issues.
- Improve processes, manage data for immigration purposes, and produce reports as needed.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a similar support or coordination role, especially with blue-collar or international workforces.
- Familiarity with the PALM Scheme, PLF, or DFAT-led programs is a big plus
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with a calm, problem-solving attitude.
- A passion for helping others, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Perks you'll love:
- Heavily discounted meat products
- Retail discounts with top national partners
- Health insurance savings (Bupa & Medibank)
- Real career growth with one of Australia's leading food manufacturers
Ready to make a real impact? If you're passionate about people and ready to play a key role in a meaningful, people-first program, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and become part of something bigger
