Job Description

As a nurse at our practice, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care. You will be a proactive, compassionate, and skilled healthcare professional, dedicated to maintaining our practice's values and standards.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Proactive chronic disease management, including health assessments and care plans.
  • Assisting GPs with clinical nursing duties, including patient triage, immunisations, wound management, ECGs, iron infusions, and procedures.
  • Maintaining stocks of clinical supplies, ensuring correct storage and timely reordering.
  • Cold chain management.
  • Upholding a safe and clean working environment, including maintenance of clinical equipment.
  • Staying informed about current legislation and regulatory obligations, such as infection control and safety protocols.
  • Maintaining a cooperative relationship with the team, documenting and communicating information, responding to requests, and participating in team problem-solving methods.
  • Preserving patient confidence by keeping their information confidential.

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Police Clearance
  • Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current CPR Certificate
