Support Worker

We are seeking a caring and reliable Disability Support Worker to assist a 17-year-old male participant with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The role focuses on providing safe transport, supporting community access, and encouraging independence in a positive and engaging way.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Thursday
12:00pm – 3:30/4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Provide safe transport to and from activities.
Support community participation and recreation.
Encourage independence, confidence, and social engagement.
Build a supportive and professional relationship with the participant.
About the Participant
The participant is easy-going and enjoys working out, playing video games, and drawing. This role suits someone approachable who can share interests and provide positive support.
Requirements
ABN (Australian Business Number) – required.
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
Working With Children Check.
First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
Previous disability support experience is welcome but not essential – training and guidance can be provided.
Pay Rate
$30 – $40 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).
