About the role

Civifence, a leading provider of fencing solutions, is seeking a skilled Fencer to join our team in Geelong for a current pipeline of work. As a Fencer, you will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining a variety of fencing types. This is a casual position with a current pipeline of work in progress.

What you'll be doing

1. Installing a range of fencing types, including tubular, post and rail and chain link
2. Leading site crews and planning works. Running stringlines and marking out for excavation. Leading fence post pours. Installing infill materials.
3. Providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the project lifecycle
4. Collaborating with the team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Fencer or in a similar construction/trades role - must be comfortable to work independently with support from the management team
2. Professional work ethic - even when presented with a challenge
3. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address on-site challenges
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
5. Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role.
6. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
7. A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
8. A reliable phone and comfortable with technology
9. Free from affects of drugs and alcohol, some of our clients implement random testing
10. Must be board with wearing PPE and our "Civifence Standards"
11. Must be willing to be employed directly via TFN. Payroll is weekly and super is paid on top of hourly rate.
