The Role

We're seeking a hands-on, motivated Head Chef to lead our small but passionate kitchen team. You will work closely with a dedicated Sous Chef and junior kitchen staff to maintain and elevate the food standards that have driven Anthill's success.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Sous Chef or Head Chef role
  • Ready to step into a Head Chef position and lead a team with confidence
  • Passionate about classic pub food with flair for creative daily specials
  • A hands-on leader with strong coaching and mentoring skills
  • Committed to food quality, consistency, and operational excellence

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop the kitchen brigade in a supportive, team-focused environment
  • Oversee all kitchen operations including menu execution, stock control, and hygiene standards
  • Drive creative specials to complement the classic menu and keep locals coming back
  • Work closely with management to grow the lunch trade and maintain steady food sales growth
