We're now looking for a like-minded Building Surveyor to join our Tribe, someone self-driven, stoic under pressure, and focused on getting things done. If you can think critically, act reliably, and bring positive energy to the team, you'll fit right in with us.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess building permit applications for domestic projects (Class 1 & 10 buildings).
• Reassess Requests for Further Information (RFIs) and assist clients with addressing outstanding items.
• Review building permit amendments.
• Handle client and stakeholder communications – manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries with a responsive and professional attitude.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and our team to ensure everyone stays informed and projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Experience:

Credentials:
Registration as a Building Surveyor (or nearing completion of registration) is a plus but
not essential
. We're open to Building Surveyors or Assistants who have worked in the commercial sector or Building Inspectors who are serious about advancing to a Building Surveyor role and building a long-term career with our Tribe.

Experience:
Minimum 4 years in a building surveying office (preferably in the private sector), with the ability to assess plans for new dwellings while working alongside and supported by a senior building surveyor.

Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA), Building Act & Regulations, including proficiency in Part 5 (Siting).

Tech Skills:
Familiarity with PermAssist software is a bonus (not mandatory).

Work Style:
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
