About the role

Apex Services Australia is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to our clients in the Perth WA 6000 area. What you'll be doing

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement personalised therapy plans to help clients achieve their communication goals
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families on speech and language development
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices

What we're looking for

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working as a Speech Pathologist in a clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and their families
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop tailored therapy plans
  • Proficiency in the use of speech and language assessment tools and therapy techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
