Depot Location: Coolum

Successful leading transport and logistics company seeking an experienced driver for the Coolum Depot.

Driver Role:

As a Local Driver your main responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation of the transportation and distribution of freight.

This is a FULL-TIME permanent position working 40 hours a week.

Mon :- 06:30 AM - 3:00pm

Tue to Fri :- 7:00am - 3:30pm

The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:

  • Perform multi drop deliveries (general freight) daily, some of which will be hand unloaded
  • 3-5 scheduled pickups per day
  • Load/Unload trucks
  • Safely operate and conduct vehicle checks of your assigned  vehicle
  • Maintain all freight, parcels/items/pallet documentation.

About you:

  • Minimum full manual MR licence
  • Forklift licence is desirable
  • Multi drop exp. in a similar company (minimum 12 months)
  • No more than 8 demerit points accumulated on licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including D & A test
  • Be prepared to provide a current licence history report for the previous five years
  • Full permanent working rights.
