Yardperson

Our team is growing We are actively seeking a Yardperson to join our team in ACT

Your main duties will include but are not limited to the following –

• Load and unload transport trucks with material in an organised and timely manner.
• Ensure checks to verify stock levels for re-ordering are accurate and appropriate.
• Accurately organise stock and ensure materials are ready for pick up in a timely manner.
• Assist with stock checks when required.
• Ensure that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and check for damages and quantity.
• Keep yard clean and tidy including perimeter checks as necessary.
• Update computer system to record accurate stock levels.
• Ensure that everyone who enters yard is wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE).
• General manual handling tasks such as waste removals, material handling and collection.
• Operate a forklift.

Applicants must have -

• SafeWork White Card or recognised interstate White Card.
• Current SafeWork Forklift Licence (LF Class).
• Manual Handling training in the last year preferred however not required.
• Experience working in a similar role, involving work with yard responsibilities for a minimum  of two years.
• Computer literate and knowledge of stock systems preferred however not required.
