Chilli Everest is a modern and authentic Nepalese and Indian restaurant located in the heart

of Melbourne, Victoria. We are known for our vibrant flavours, traditional recipes, and warm, welcoming atmosphere. With a strong local following and growing demand, we are

expanding our kitchen team and seeking skilled chef and cooks to help deliver exceptional dining

experiences.

What You'll Do:

As a chef at Chilli Everest, you'll be responsible for:

 Preparing and cooking a wide range of Indian and Nepalese dishes with consistency

and quality

 Ensuring high standards in food presentation and portion control

 Monitoring kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene procedures

 Managing ingredients and inventory levels to reduce waste and improve efficiency

 Supporting the kitchen team and assisting with training of junior staff

 Collaborating with management on menu development and seasonal specials

What We're Looking For:

 Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (a Diploma in Hospitality/Cookery

will be highly regarded)

 At least 1 year of relevant experience working as a chef in a commercial kitchen

 Strong knowledge of Indian and/or Nepalese cuisine

 Flexibility to work across weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
