We have an exciting career opportunity for a driven and passionate individual to join our Victorian Sales Team.  This role will appeal to an experienced salesperson with a proven track record of success. The successful candidate will be from the transport, automotive, or agricultural sectors.  The role would also appeal to someone with a strong technical capability and experience in the heavy vehicle transport or agricultural industry, who is ready to transition off the tools and build a long-term career in sales.

You'll spend around 80% of your week managing existing accounts, nurturing trusted customer relationships, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction. About the role…

  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across OEM, Fleet, and Aftermarket segments, building a sales network that maximises opportunities across all product lines.
  • Drive sales performance by achieving and exceeding budgets and targets through proactive account management and customer growth initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning and forecasting by providing accurate sales data, insights, and market intelligence to help shape annual budgets and long-term growth strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities by gathering market insights, assessing customer buying patterns, and tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, customer events, and during regional or interstate travel, ensuring exceptional service and follow-up support, including warranty and quotation enquiries.

Must have experience…

  • A solid track record in sales with a strong customer focus.
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in the heavy vehicle transport or agricultural industry.
  • Experience in cost planning, forecasting and target management.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy including Microsoft, CRM and ERP systems.
  • Car license is essential.
