Treetops Adventure joined the family in December 2021 and is scaling new heights, providing challenges for adventure seekers at all levels. Currently we have 16 locations around Australia. Treetops Adventures feature exciting and challenging obstacle courses high up in the tree canopy, that will have all the family swinging, leaping, climbing, and flying through the forest.

About the role

We are on the hunt for Instructors to join the team at our Yeodene site. You will be flying high in the sky on ropes courses and outdoor adventure experiences. You will have flexibility in your work availability including weekends.

You will hold a Working with Children Check.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with participants in a courteous, informative manner both in-person and over the phone, providing guidance and answering inquiries about activities
  • Welcome visitors to the park and conduct thorough safety briefings, ensuring participants understand risks, procedures, and equipment usage
  • Monitor participants, spectators, and children to maintain a safe and orderly environment during activities
  • Safely outfit participants with necessary gear such as harnesses, helmets, and gloves, providing comprehensive safety instructions for equipment use
  • Perform daily inspections of activity courses and personal protective equipment (PPE) as per operational guidelines, documenting findings accurately
  • Prepare and ensure completion of waiver forms, verifying participant understanding and compliance with safety requirements
  • Execute participant rescues when necessary, following established emergency protocols and ensuring participant safety
  • Assist with park opening and closing procedures, including operational checks and securing facilities
  • Facilitate efficient booking arrivals, ensuring participants are welcomed and oriented to their activities
  • Respond to emergencies promptly, coordinating with park management and emergency services as needed
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as equipment adjustments, platform maintenance, and general cleaning and facility upkeep
