About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, this role is pivotal in supporting the strategic and financial goals of the Sales Division. You'll work closely with senior leadership to implement consistent financial procedures nationally, drive performance through analysis and budget management, and ensure compliance across all financial operations. 

This role can be based in Port Melbourne or Brisbane. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial reporting, cashflow management, and risk oversight for the Sales Division.
  • Collaborate with central finance teams and other CFO direct reports.
  • Oversee EOM reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets and KPIs.
  • Support FBT and audit processes.
  • Develop and implement standardised policies and procedures.
  • Drive process improvements and technology integration.
  • Mentor and retain finance department staff.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in a similar financial controlling role.
  • Automotive industry experience is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and dealership DMS/ERP systems.
  • Proven ability to work with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of accounting, taxation, and financial systems.
  • Excellent communication that will be leveraged with internal and external customers.
