About the role
Yandina Dental is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join our growing team in Yandina, Queensland. This full-time or part-time role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate dental professional to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care. We also have days available at our other growing practice Beerwah Dental.
What you'll be doing
- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services including scaling, polishing, and other routine preventive treatments of adults, children and dental implant patients using scaling and airflow devices.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of dental health
- Collaborate with the dentist to develop and implement personalised treatment plans
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Assist in the efficient running of the dental practice and contribute to a positive team environment
What we're looking for
- Registered Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in a similar role within a dental practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients
- Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
