Role Profile:

Are you a talented and experienced designer ready to take the lead on impactful projects and mentor the next generation of design talent? Unispace is looking for a Senior Designer to join our dynamic studio. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind project success, quality control, and team development.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead Projects: Manage self and smaller projects to ensure they are delivered profitably, on time, and on budget, supporting larger projects where required.
  • Maintain Relationships: Nurture strong relationships with clients and ensure clear, effective communication throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Mentor & Guide: Act as a buddy for new hires, mentor junior designers, and contribute to our internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Ensure Quality: Implement design best practices, uphold studio standards, and actively manage project risks and compliance.

About you:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and a strong understanding of local codes and technical specifications.
  • Proven experience across all project phases (from Schematic Design onwards) and familiarity with contract documents.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and client orientation skills.
  • A passion for mentoring and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

This is a hybrid role based in Sydney, and you'll need to be based in the nearby area to be considered for this role.
