Ready to launch your career in automation and robotics? Dematic is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Apprenticeship Program as an Apprentice Electrician, starting in February 2026.
You'll begin your journey at our customer site in Tarneit, VIC (West Melbourne), with the potential to rotate across other major customer sites in the West and the North of Melbourne (such as Craigeburn, Somerton, Broadmeadows, Truganina, Tarneit and Epping) throughout your apprenticeship.
Whether you're a Year 12 school leaver, looking to start your 1st year, or seeking to continue as a 2nd, 3rd year or mature age apprentice, this is your chance to work with cutting-edge technology and build a career in a thriving industry.

We are currently offering apprenticeships in:
Electrical - (Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician)
Upon completion, you will be fully certified, with experience in complex industrial environments and have access to a variety of career options across the national Dematic business including: Field Service or On-site Maintenance Technician, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Project Site Supervisor positions.
Who We're Looking For
We want to hear from you if you're:
Finishing Year 12 and ready to start your career in 2026
Looking to begin or continue a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year apprenticeship, or are a mature age candidate
Passionate about electrical systems, robotics, automation, gadgets, or cars
A strong communicator with an interest in maths or science
Motivated, curious, and ready to learn
An Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights
Holding a current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred)
How to Apply

3. Face-to-face interviews in late November 2025, followed by pre-employment checks (medical, drug & alcohol testing, police check, references).
