We are offering two different positions at this stage. Please put down which position you would like to apply to when you submit your application.

  1. Retails Assistant: We are looking for someone with customer servise and visual merchandising experience for this position in our Taren Point store. We are offering Casual roles for this position. The applicant must be able to handle multi tasks and work efficiently.
  2. Data entry and administrator: We are looking for someone with retail background have experience in uploading products data in our selling platform and systems. This part-time role will be responsible for providing administrative support, accurate online systems data management and customer services to ensure the smooth running of our business operations.

About the Roll of the Retail Shop Assistant:

  • Put stocks on shelves/ Stock merchandising/ Stock displaying/ styling
  • Serving customer in person and on the phone with proper manners
  • Inflating balloons, assembling Balloon Arrangements – training can be provided
  • Assist customers to place balloon orders and give customer suggestions on balloon design and arrangment
  • Assist picking and packing online orders
  • Deliver balloons to customer by driving our AUTO company Van
  • Cleaning the store (back & front)
  • Be an expert on our products allowing you to make the best suggestions for the customer.

About the roll of Data entry and Administrator:

  • Provide general administrative support, including helping answering the phone, replying emails to the customers and suppliers, provide excellent customer services to our customers in store, on the phone and by emails.
  • Communicate with suppliers and raise credits to the suppliers
  • Accurately enter data into our online selling systems and platforms and maintain the accurancy of the data in our online selling systems and platforms
  • Edit and upload photos on our online systems and platform
  • Processing and organising shipping of customer orders
  • General ad hoc administrative tasks. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders as required

Job Requirements for Retail assistant roll:

  • Be able to travel to work at Taren Point
  • Driver license (MUST)
  • Previous visual merchandising and customer service experience preferred
  • Previouse Balloon shop experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and in the team
  • Quick learner and work efficiently

Job Requirments for Data Entry and Administrator roll:

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Excellent data entry and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Prior experience in a similar administrative or data entry role, preferably in the retail or customer service industry
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and data management systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
