About Cardijn
Cardijn College is a dynamic R–12 co-educational Catholic school in Adelaide's Southern Vales, inspired by the Marist tradition and the vision of Cardinal Joseph Cardijn and St Marcellin Champagnat. Position Overview
The Electrotechnology Trade Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality vocational education and training within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) environment. This role includes the delivery and assessment of training programs aligned with nationally recognised training packages and regulatory frameworks.
Working collaboratively with students, staff, and industry stakeholders, the Trainer ensures all training and assessment activities are compliant, contextualised, and industry relevant. Key responsibilities include maintaining current training resources, supporting student progression, contributing to curriculum development and participating in quality assurance activities that support continuous improvement.
The role also involves mentoring students, monitoring progress, facilitating access to recognition and appeals processes, and maintaining accurate records to meet audit and compliance standards. Active participation in professional development and industry consultation is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and assess accredited training in line with national standards and industry requirements.
- Develop, validate, and moderate training and assessment tools and materials.
- Maintain strong industry engagement.
- Support student learning through mentoring, progress monitoring, and tailored interventions.
- Maintain accurate records to meet compliance and audit requirements.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to continuous improvement.
