About Us

DRC (NSW) Pty Ltd is a specialist restoration and cleaning company dedicated to restoring homes, buildings, and commercial properties after damage caused by fire, flood, mould, and biohazard events.

We're expanding and looking for a professional, reliable, and experienced Cleaner / Restoration Technician to join our growing Sydney-based team. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who thrives in challenging environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality restoration work.

*** Please note: Our warehouse is situated in Smeaton Grange, however you will be travelling around Sydney on a daily basis to various job sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform deep cleans on construction and building sites
  • Undertake biohazard, mould, flood, and fire remediation works
  • Carry out emergency "make-safe" works to mitigate further damage
  • Respond to water and mould damage emergencies in both commercial and residential sectors
  • Perform structural drying, mould remediation, and fire restoration services alongside reinstatement repairs
  • Prepare detailed and accurate reports, scopes of work, and quotations
  • Liaise professionally with insurers, clients, and contractors
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders through clear, professional communication
  • Operate and maintain specialised restoration equipment safely and effectively
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Uphold company policies, values, and service standards at all times

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in restoration, cleaning, or related trades
  • IICRC accreditation(s) (preferred but not essential)
  • Background in structural or contents restoration, or carpet cleaning (preferred but not essential)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Proven time management and organisational skills
  • Able to remain calm and perform well under pressure
  • Current and valid Driver's Licence (required)
  • White Card (or willingness to obtain)
