Educational Leader – Little Shining Stars Virginia

Little Shining Stars Early Learning Centre, located in Virginia, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Educational Leader to join our supportive and caring team.

As the Educational Leader, you will play a key role in guiding, mentoring, and inspiring educators to deliver high-quality programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS). You will work closely with educators, families, and the leadership team to ensure our curriculum is child-focused, inclusive, and engaging.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the educational program across all rooms.
  • Mentoring and guiding educators in planning, documentation, and reflective practice.
  • Collaborating with families, staff, and community stakeholders to enrich learning outcomes.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and contributing to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
  • Embedding cultural awareness, sustainability, and inclusive practices within the program.

What we're looking for:

  • Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent, ACECQA approved).
  • Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and current early childhood practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • A genuine passion for inspiring and supporting children's learning and development.
  • Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR, and Child Protection Training.
