YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Despatch Team Leader to lead daily despatch operations and keep orders moving safely, accurately and on time. You will set the standard on picking performance, safe loading, paperwork discipline and carrier coordination, while reinforcing a Safety First culture and strong housekeeping across the despatch floor.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading despatch performance to achieve agreed picking accuracy and pick rate targets
  • Driving team performance across motivation, productivity, error reduction and safety outcomes
  • Owning the Safe Loading process and ensuring loading standards are followed consistently
  • Inspecting picked goods to confirm they are conforming, in acceptable condition and match consignment paperwork
  • Working closely with carriers and freight providers to ensure orders are delivered on time
  • Ensuring all goods leaving the warehouse are accompanied by correct paperwork (manifests, corrective despatch documentation, dockets)

ABOUT YOU

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse despatch environment (team leader / senior operator level ideal)
  • Current forklift licence with strong practical operating capability
  • RF scanning knowledge and comfort working with pick tickets, paperwork and system processes
  • A strong safety mindset and the confidence to enforce safe loading, traffic management and housekeeping standards
  • Solid understanding of stock accuracy disciplines (cycle counts, location integrity, pallet control)

Qualifications (desirable):

  • First Aid qualification
