The Role

An exciting new opportunity has opened in our Launceston Branch for a hybrid role, working as a delivery driver, as well as a Warehouse Storeperson. The successful candidate will spend 3 days a week delivering product and providing service to major customers in Northern Tasmania, as well as doing two deliveries per week to Hobart. In the remaining two days per week the role will operate out of our Launceston distribution centre, receiving, controlling and distributing stock. It will also involve stocktakes, picking stock and loading and unloading trucks.

This is an autonomous and varied position with many benefits and aim to increase our profile and boost sales as well as:

  • Preparing and delivering products to our valued accounts
  • Managing and maintaining a portfolio of loyal customers
  • Building great working relationships with new and existing customers to showcase our global brand
  • Working within our MDC in a team environment

To be successful in this role you must hold a valid HR or MR (with willingness to upgrade) License and be physically fit as this role requires use of pallet jack, forklift and manual handling.

About you

  • HR License (Essential requirement) Would consider upskilling MR license for the right candidate
  • Forklift License (Essential)
  • Previous experience using a pallet jack
  • Physical fitness and good understanding of Manual handling
  • Previous Warehouse experience
  • Excellent verbal, reading and written communication skills
  • The ability to organise and prioritise your workload effectively
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Great communication and negotiation abilities to compliment excellent Customer Service skills
