Are you an experienced Store Person looking for flexible part-time work in the Gunnedah Basin? Programmed is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Store Person to provide coverage for a long-standing mining client.

This role is ideal for someone who values flexibility, is available at short notice, and enjoys working across a supportive team environment.

About the role:

  • Provide backfill coverage for annual leave (in blocks of weeks) and ad-hoc sick leave (multiple days as required).
  • Potential for a regular once-a-week rostered shift to maintain site familiarity and support the stores team.
  • 6 - 8hr shift lengths, day shift only
  • Work across the client's Gunnedah Operations Centre and, where required, at Maules Creek.

  • Duties include:

  • Loading/unloading deliveries

  • Accurate data entry and stock register management
  • Safe forklift operation (NSW ticket required or ability to obtain)
  • Assisting the Stores Supervisor to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised stores/laydown area

What we're looking for:

  • NSW forklift licence (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous stores/warehouse experience (desirable)
  • Strong computer literacy and willingness to learn client systems
  • High attention to detail and a strong safety focus
  • Flexibility to work on short notice and cover leave blocks
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment order 43 medical, functional capacity evaluation & drug and alcohol screening
  • Willingness to complete online inductions and criminal history checks
  • Able to provide current and relevant work references
