About the role
TML Transport is a family owned & operated company with over 40 years' experience in carrying general freight nationwide, we are seeking experienced MC Linehaul Drivers to join our dynamic team in Two Wells, SA. As an MC Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of general freight to Sydney NSW, using new equipment and one truck, one driver assigned.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate heavy vehicles, including B-doubles, road trains and AB triples
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and comply with all relevant road transport regulations, OH&S and COR requirements
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain detailed logbooks
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring on-time delivery and responding promptly to any issues
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
What we're looking for
- Valid MC class driver's licence with a minimum of 2 years' experience driving road ranger gearbox
- Demonstrated knowledge of road transport regulations and safe driving practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use our in-truck systems
- BFM certificate and current driver medical
- Able to pass pre-employment checks and D&A testing
- Supply a current driver history report
