Nursing Support Team

Northern Beaches Hospital is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Nursing Support Team.

You will be a permanent employee at Northern Beaches Hospital (either a full or part-time basis) and based within the nursing administration team. Upon arrival for your shift, you will be allocated to wards and departments across the facility as needed to cover shortfalls and to provide care to patients at a high level of nursing. This is the perfect opportunity to be rewarded with the perks of being an employee however with the flexibility to work across of working across a wide range of clinical specialities and departments.

The team will be supported in developing a wide range of clinical skills, appropriate to each individual's skill set and level of experience.

About Northern Beaches Hospital

Operated by Healthscope, Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is located in Frenchs Forest in Northern Sydney just 13kms north of the CBD. The hospital is a contemporary 488 bed facility comprising of 60% public and 40% private beds. We provide a wide range of health services to the local community including Surgery, a 50 bed Emergency Department, Intensive Care, Birthing, Paediatrics, Cardiac, Mental Health, Dialysis, Cancer Centre and Outpatients.

NBH has thirteen operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheter theatre, two Catheter Laboratories and four endoscopy procedure rooms, all supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care wards.

Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility for all patients in our local area. It was thoughtfully designed to optimise patient safety and overall experience, and to provide meaningful management and operational efficiencies that benefit everyone.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement , a salary ranging from $ $49.79 per hour.
