The opportunity

Faulkner nurseries PTY LTD is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Horticulture apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the nursery industry while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the propagation, cultivation and maintenance of a variety of plants and trees
  • Planting, transplanting and potting plants
  • Watering, fertilising and pruning plants
  • Maintaining tools and equipment
  • Helping with the preparation and delivery of plant orders
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge

  • Willingness to learn and a keen interest in developing new skills
  • Good hand-eye coordination and physical fitness
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
