Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement gathering workshops with business, application, and IT stakeholders specifically for Saviynt onboarding (applications, user roles, entitlements).
  • Define and document functional and non-functional requirements for IAM/IGA use-cases: access certifications, periodic access reviews, SoD (Segregation of Duties), birthrights, entitlement management.
  • Map existing roles/permissions; perform role mining / role engineering in Saviynt.
  • Design and model access request workflows / approval flows / provisioning/deprovisioning process in Saviynt.
  • Translate business rules into Saviynt configuration: rule-management, access policies, connector definitions, reconciliation setup.
  • Ensure compliance requirements (e.g. SOX, GDPR, internal security policies) are integrated into solution design and are auditable.
  • Define test plans, conduct unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate that Saviynt configurations work as per requirements.
  • Manage defect / issue resolution, change requests, scope management.
  • Provide reporting: dashboards, analytics, certification reports via Saviynt or supporting tools.
  • Create clear documentation: use cases, process flows, swim-lanes, user guides, operating procedures specific to Saviynt.
  • Provide training / handover to operations/business teams.
  • Monitor ongoing access governance processes: periodic reviews, remediation, audits.
  • Stakeholder management: update project status, risks, dependencies, ensure alignment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related.
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in IAM/IGA domain, with Saviynt as a key tool.
  • Expertise in Saviynt modules: Access Requests, Certifications (Access Reviews), Birthrights, Connectors, Analytics/Reporting, Rule Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts: RBAC, ABAC, least privilege, entitlement modelling, SoD, identity lifecycle (provisioning / deprovisioning).
  • Experience in onboarding applications into Saviynt—defining entitlements, setting up connectors, establishing reconciliation, handling disconnected apps.
  • Strong skills in functional specification, process mapping, workflow modeling, and use-case creation.
  • Testing experience: building test cases, executing UAT, defect tracking, verifying in non-prod & prod.
  • Analytical skills to identify gaps, define metrics/KPIs, support audit and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written), able to liaise between business, security, technical teams.
  • Experience in producing documentation and training materials.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, make decisions, prioritize, manage multiple tasks/projects in parallel.
