Albany Creek State School has an opportunity for a dynamic and passionate leader and is seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead their dedicated team and continue fostering a culture of high achievement, strong community values, and holistic student development. As Principal, you will guide and
empower staff through collaborative and values-based leadership, promote high standards of teaching and learning, and embed socially just practices across the school.

This is a temporary full-time position commencing 22 January 2026 until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined. If you are a

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Promote Excellence and Growth: Set and maintain high standards for student achievement and staff performance, while actively engaging in lifelong learning and professional development.
  • Build Strong Partnerships: Foster effective collaboration with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry, and business to enhance educational opportunities.
  • Lead Strategically and Responsibly: Apply a deep understanding of legislation, policy, and resource management to drive future-focused planning and achieve school goals.
