About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated and reliable Lawn Mowing and Gardening Assistant to join our team on a casual basis (1–3 days per week), with the potential for full-time employment in the future. You'll work from our Derrimut premises and assist with garden and lawn maintenance across a variety of client sites.
Your duties will include:
- Lawn mowing and edging
- Hedge trimming and pruning
- Weeding and general garden maintenance
- Blowing, mulching, and green waste removal
- Assisting with other outdoor maintenance tasks as required
Requirements:
- Experience in gardening, landscaping, or lawn care (preferred but not essential)
- Physically fit and capable of outdoor manual work
- Reliable transport to and from Derrimut
- Punctual, well-presented, and able to work independently or in a small team
- Current driver's licence
- Police Check and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain) desirable for NDIS work
- Preference given to applicants who have completed or commenced a Certificate in Horticultural Studies
