The purpose of Secret Harbour Primary School (PS) is to develop the whole child by providing quality learning experiences in order that every student may become a positive contributing member to our society goals. Our school motto 'Leads the Way' has been embraced by the school community.
Secret Harbour is on the WA coast and is situated between the cities of Rockingham and Mandurah. Our open spaces, bush land, beaches, parks and lakes combined with a strong sense of community spirit make Secret Harbour an ideal place for families.
The Role
Secret Harbour PS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Wellbeing and Support Officer to help foster student wellbeing, resilience, and pro-social behaviours. In this role, you will work in partnership with our Student Services team to plan, prioritise, and deliver targeted support through individual interventions, small group sessions, and whole-school programs.
The successful applicant will provide support and advice to teachers on strategies for supporting students. You will also collaborate with key service providers and community organisations to coordinate and deliver initiatives that engage and support students at risk.

- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Demonstrated negotiation, mediation and conflict resolutions skills with relevant experience working with students who require support.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team without direct supervision.
- Demonstrated effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities within timelines.
