What You'll Be Doing

As a trainee, you will:

  • Support educators in planning and delivering play-based learning
  • Help create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children
  • Assist in daily routines and activities
  • Build positive relationships with children, families and team members
  • Commit to studying and completing your Certificate III during your traineeship

What You'll Need

No qualifications are needed to apply – just the right attitude To be successful, you must have:

  • A genuine passion for working with children
  • A caring, enthusiastic personality and strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • Reliability, flexibility and availability between 730am – 6pm
  • Willingness to learn and follow guidance as part of your traineeship
  • NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency (traineeship requirement)
  • A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
