Barwon Valley Golf Club is growing and we're looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused people to join our team. We have opportunities for a few casual hospitality staff and 1 casual ProShop worker.

Casual Hospitality Staff

Bring your energy and customer service skills to our busy clubhouse team.

Requirements:

  • Current RSA (essential)
  • Barista skills (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Outgoing, honest and reliable (golf knowledge a bonus but not essential)

Casual ProShop Worker

This role combines customer service, retail, and golf operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting members and guests with tee bookings and enquiries (in person and by phone)
  • Processing retail sales and promoting golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
  • Monitoring and maintaining the driving range facilities
  • Performing barista duties and table service when required
  • Cash handling, reconciliations, and opening/closing procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Positive attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Previously experience in a customer service role, preferably in a golf of hospitality environment with a strong emphasis on delivering elite level service.
  • Knowledge of golf related products is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Current RSA
  • Outgoing personality and a great sense of humour
