Concrete Patcher

Direct Personnel is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Precast Concrete Patchers to join a leading manufacturer of precast concrete products based in the Newcastle area. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and skilled individuals who are looking for consistent hours, excellent conditions, and long-term work.

Duties & Responsibilities: As a Precast Concrete Patcher, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing and cleaning concrete moulds prior to casting
• Patching and repairing surface defects in precast concrete products
• Grinding, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces to meet quality standards
• Mixing patching materials and applying them accurately and efficiently
• Conducting quality checks to ensure a high standard of finish
• Supporting the pouring, finishing, and demoulding of precast elements
• General labouring duties as required in the precast yard
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in concrete patching, labouring or working in a precast yard (highly desirable)
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour
• Ability to pass a pre-employment assessment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Able to work well within a team and follow instructions
• Reliable transport and current driver's license
• Strong focus on safety and workplace compliance
