Serviceman

About Us:

We're a Northern Territory family owned and operated business, with local knowledge, local employees and thorough experience working in the Northern Territory climate. We maintain a large, modern fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment, and we're looking for a reliable and experienced Serviceman to join our growing team.

Your Role:

As an experienced Serviceman, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to dozers, loaders, excavators, graders, light vehicles and trucks. This role suits someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, has good communication skills and the drive to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a range of machinery and equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Assist in inventory control and tool management
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments as required

Requirements:

All candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, and a drug and alcohol screen.

• Trade qualification in mechanical, automotive, or related field
• Proven experience in a workshop or similar environment
• Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to workplace safety and efficiency
• Valid driver's license
