Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Diamond Driller based in Jamestown, SA. The Diamond Driller will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling rigs, conducting exploratory and production drilling, and performing hydrogeological drilling. Daily tasks include setting up and dismantling drilling equipment, monitoring drilling operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining accurate records of drilling activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating and maintaining drilling rigs and equipment
- Knowledge of exploratory and production drilling techniques
- Understanding of hydrogeological drilling practices
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Capability to work independently and effectively in remote locations
- Relevant certifications and licenses
- Experience in the mining and exploration industry is advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
