A reputable aged care construction company is currently seeking a proactive Health and Safety Officer who is eager to take the next step in their career,

Qualifications & experience

  • OH&S Induction Training for Construction Industry Workers (White Card)
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Act as the main health and safety contact on the site. Consult with all persons and offer advice and assistance
  • Ensure that all health and safety related issues are identified and suitably controlled or escalated to Management
  • Ensure site safety requirements are achieved in accordance with Company procedures
  • Lead in the resolution of OHS related issues onsite
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
