Job Title: Barista – Greek Café

We are a family-run Greek café with a loyal local following, serving authentic Greek flavours alongside great coffee. We take pride in creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers and are looking for a passionate barista to join our team.

Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced and friendly barista who knows their way around a coffee machine and enjoys connecting with customers. The right person will be reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining a focus on quality and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso coffee and other beverages to a high standard
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment confidently
• Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and approachable manner
• Assist with café duties such as taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean workspace
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a barista (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and latte art
• A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure during busy periods
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliability and flexibility with working hours, including weekends
• An interest in Greek food and culture is a plus, but not essential

Pay: $24.95 – $40.82 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
