Currently in a solid growth phase, we are seeking an experienced General Factory Hand / Warehouse store person to join the team at their Slacks Creek operation.  Career progression possibilities exist, consistent with company growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Production manager, your duties are to carry out the fabricating components. Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Performing receiving duties for incoming inventory from vendors.
  • Day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations including but not limited to goods receiving, unpacking, packing, quality checking.
  • Inspecting incoming product to quality standards and ensure freshness and shelf life.
  • Moving product (use moving equipment - forklift, pallet jack), stock
  • Maintaining inventory warehouse locations in a clean and organized manner.
  • Conducting inventory counts and count sheets.
  • Working within the manufacturing facility as part of the production team fabricating signs.
  • Good at using hand and power tools
  • Maintaining the factory in a clean, safe and secure manner
  • General store duties including receipt and locate stock, despatch goods

What we are looking for

In order to achieve success in this role, we are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who encompasses the following skills and capabilities:

  • Warehouse Experience principles including Health and Safety.
  • Current Forklift License and manual driver license essential
  • Committed and strong work ethic
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills
  • Good at both hand & power tools
  • Reliable and willing to take accountability
  • Physically fit and healthy
  • Attention to detail
  • Physically fit
  • proven ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • be a self-starter
  • ability to work under pressure
  • willingness to learn and develop
  • Capable of reading shop drawings;
  • knowledge of the signage industry would be considered an advantage
