Band 6 Radiographer
, based at
Ashgrove House, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary
.
This part-time role is integral to the delivery of high-quality DXA scanning for research studies to populations across
Grampian, Orkney, and Shetland
. The service operates scanners at both Ashgrove House and Dr Gray's Hospital, Elgin, with this post primarily located at Ashgrove House.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with research, clinical, and administrative teams to undertake research DXA imaging in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with the specific requirements of each study.
- Contribute to the scheduling and delivery of some clinical DXA scanning, where appropriate, to support alignment between research and clinical activities.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical governance
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless care
The NHS service performs approximately
6,000 scans annually
