Join Gumdale State School as an AO3 Administration Officer - Drive Operational Excellence in a Thriving School Community.
As a detail-oriented and organised professional, you will carry out financial processes, coordinate WHS activities and provide face-to-face support to parents and students in a fast-paced environment — all while fostering a culture of care throughout the school.
In this dynamic role, you will contribute to the effective and efficient management of the school by providing relevant and timely service to the School Community and administrative support to the Principal, Deputy Principals and Business Manager. Gumdale is a friendly school and has a strong team work ethic. It is a full time role hrs per week plus ADO).
You'll be instrumental in ensuring our school runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with the Department of Education's vision of equity and excellence.
We're looking for someone who:

Key responsibilities include:
- Administer day-to-day financial matters (e.g. receipting, banking, follow-up on late payments as directed by the Business Manager, understand and implement debt management, process credit adjustments). Input and export financial data to/from OneSchool.
- Assisting with payment plans and Centerpay, while identifying and implementing process improvements.Managing the Student Resource Scheme, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and Business Activity Statement (BAS).
- Work unsupervised and have the ability to initiate and implement procedures where necessary.
- Effectively and efficiently use OneSchool including student absences, QParents, roll marking and monitoring, and receipting.
- Parent and student reception and first aid support.
- Providing advice and support on HS&W requirements, including implementing relevant policies and procedures.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated knowledge, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of departmental administrative policies, practices and procedures used in schools.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) including the ability to communicate messages clearly and concisely, to deliver quality service outcomes for the school community.
- Ability to perform under direction, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work demands and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with supervisor to review and develop systems and services to meet the needs of a changing School environment.
- High level of computer skills particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and online applications. Knowledge of OneSchool Agresso is required.
