Revit Technician

We are looking to expand our Architectural team of talented and dedicated people in our Darwin Studio to collaborate on projects throughout Australia. We are seeking a Revit Technician to join this team in a full time, permanent capacity.

Skills & Experience

Revit Technicians work with their allocated manager and under the direction of the Project Leader or Associate, requiring close working relationships with their project team at MODE to deliver high quality design, documentation and construction outcomes. They will collaborate with their team in a highly effective manner which includes mentoring and overviewing junior staff as appropriate to meet deadlines and project requirements.

Profile and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have

  • Relevant Qualifications:
    A recognised qualification with strong design, documentation, and construction knowledge - at minimum Advanced Diploma and higher education welcome.
  • Technical Expertise:
    Minimum 5 years post-graduate employment experience
  • Advanced BIM and Design Capabilities:
    Proven Revit and BIM proficiency with the ability to deliver coordinated, high-quality project documentation.
  • Project and Coordination Skills:
    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, and coordinate to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Management:
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.
  • Personal Drive and Professionalism:
    A self-motivated, results-driven, and solutions-focused approach with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.

You will be able to

Deliver Design Excellence:
Deliver compliant, high-quality designs and documentation, integrating innovative solutions and supporting planning, building, and construction processes.

  • On all projects ensure 100% compliance with relevant SID obligations as per the required Act specific to the Studio/project location, including 'Work Health and Safety Act 2011' (AUS) and 'Health and Safety at work Act 2015' (NZ);
  • Prepare conceptual designs;
  • Prepare design and design development documentation and presentations;
  • Assist with documentation of planning and building applications;
  • Integration of
    Innovation Capitalisation
    within MODE projects; and
  • Prepare documentation of construction details.

Drive Project Efficiency and Team Success:
Support project leaders to achieve time, cost, and quality goals while coordinating stakeholders, ensuring quality standards, mentoring staff, and contributing to business development.

  • Profitability and Efficiency:
  • Assist the project leaders to ensure projects run by the studio are delivered within the agreed tolerances for time, quality, scope and cost;
  • Assist with Coordination of sub-consultant inputs and documentation review;
  • Quality Assurance processes are followed for all projects; and
  • Maintaining office standards and systems.
  • Human Resources:
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures;
  • Ensure timesheets are complete on time; and
  • Provide direction, input and support to relevant junior staff.
  • Business Expansion:
  • Assist with business development activities as directed.
