About the role

If you know your way around a loader and take pride in safe, efficient work, we want you on our team. We're on the lookout for skilled Loader Operators ready to take on some of South Australia's most exciting infrastructure projects — from busy metropolitan sites to large-scale regional works.

This is a full-time role where no two days are the same. Whether you're an experienced operator or looking to take your skills to the next level, we'll give you the support and opportunities you need to grow.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate loaders for material handling, stockpiling, loading trucks, backfilling, and other civil tasks
  • Safely load and move materials to specified locations, following site plans and instructions
  • Complete daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance on plant and equipment
  • Work closely with other operators, labourers, and supervisors to achieve project deadlines and quality outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all WHS procedures and site safety requirements
  • Keep the worksite organised, clean, and hazard-free
  • Assist with general site and labouring duties when required

What we're looking for

  • Construction Induction Certificate (White Card – essential, or willing to obtain before hire)
  • Loader operating tickets/licences
  • Proven experience operating loaders in a civil construction environment
  • Strong understanding of safe loading, tipping, and material handling practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail and safe equipment operation
  • Willingness to work across various sites, including regional locations
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
