The Job
We have an exciting full time permanent opportunity for an experienced
Driver / Dockhand (Hybrid Role)
to join our
Eaton Depot in Darwin
. This role is approximately 80% driving and 20% dockhand work, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and happy to work across both.

Some Key Responsibilities
- Represent Team Global Express in a professional manner while picking up and delivering freight safely, on time, and with excellent customer service.
- Safely load and unload freight, following all safety and load restraint requirements.
- Operate forklift and assist with dock duties as required (unloading/loading linehaul vehicles, sorting freight).
- Adhere to scanning, Proof of Delivery, and safety procedures.
- Follow all TGE OH&S policies and procedures.
- Complete and manage consignment paperwork and manifests.
About You – Skills & Experience
- Current manual Car licence (minimum)
- Forklift licence – essential
- Experience in pick-up and delivery of general and express freight
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience with radio communications systems preferable
- Knowledge of Load Restraint Systems & Equipment preferable
- Ability to restrain loads in accordance with National Transport Commission's guidelines desirable
- Willingness to work in a dual role (driver + dockhand)
- Ability to pass pre-checks (medical/background/D&A)
