Hunter Physio Sports Clinic is located in Newcastle, NSW. We have been dedicated to promoting the physical well-being of the Newcastle community since 1995. Our commitment lies in providing exceptional care for injury diagnosis, treatment, advice, and recovery, setting the Gold Standard in our field.

We take pride in delivering the highest quality of care within the realm of musculoskeletal practice. Through an evidence-based approach and meticulous biomechanical considerations, we empower our patients to achieve their goals and unlock their full potential.

In addition to Physiotherapists our clinic is equipped with a team of skilled professionals, including Remedial Massage Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Pilates Instructors and Personal Trainers. Our facility has a spacious 100sqm rehabilitation and exercise gym. Within this environment, we offer a range of services, including small group rehabilitation classes led by Physiotherapists, mat Pilates, small group strength and conditioning programs, and small group exercise classes.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and charismatic Senior Physiotherapist with excellent communication skills to join our experienced and friendly team. You would be expected to participate/hold monthly inservices to enhance the Physiotherapist team's progression.

The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:

  • Fully qualified Physiotherapist
  • Current APHRA registration
  • Keen interest in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate clinical notes on patients

We value individuals who possess the drive to evolve as therapists, pursue professional development through accredited Physiotherapy training in their areas of interest, have interest in mentoring and developing new graduates. Working with us will expose you to a diverse clientele, ranging from private patients to athletes, weekend warriors, workers' compensation cases, DVA and EPC patients.

To facilitate your work, you will be provided with an iPad and full access to our boutique gym space.

We welcome applicants with three or more years' experience for the Senior Physiotherapist role.
