About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales, Parts and Customer Service professional to join our team at Midway Marine in Rockingham, WA. This full-time role will see you providing exceptional customer service, sales expertise and parts knowledge to our diverse range of clients.
What you'll be doing
- Providing attentive and personalized customer service to both walk-in and telephone customers
- Assisting customers with product selection, pricing and availability
- Maintaining and growing our parts inventory to ensure timely availability
- Processing customer orders and payments accurately and efficiently
- Developing strong relationships with customers to understand and anticipate their needs
- Supporting the sales team with closing deals and driving repeat business
- Contributing to the overall smooth operation of the store
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in a sales, parts or customer service role, ideally within the marine industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for customer service
- Strong product knowledge and the ability to match customer requirements to the right solution
- Comfortable using POS systems and inventory management software
- A collaborative team player who is also able to work independently
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
