We Are Currently Looking For a Mid To Senior Level Python Developer To Join a Software Development Client Based In Brisbane CBD That Specialises In The Provision Of Cutting-edge Software Solutions For The Oil And Gas Industry. On Offer Is

  • 6 month contract role with opportunity to transition to full-time employment
  • Participation in Employee Share Options Plan for the right candidate
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment
  • Central Brisbane office location

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Python (min 3+ years), you will be tested
  • Experience with web frameworks (FastAPI), our frontend is Typescript
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)

Desirable

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Familiarity with containerisation (Docker)
  • Experience with APIs
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, we will teach you the rest
