About the role

Morley continental meats' are seeking an experienced Butcher knife hand to join our team on a casual basis in our Morley, Western Australia location. You will play a key role in supporting our butchery operations, ensuring the highest quality fresh meat products are prepared and delivered to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing, cutting and packaging a variety of fresh meats to customer specifications
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised work environment
  • Assisting in the operation and maintenance of butchery equipment
  • Providing excellent customer service and advice to customers
  • Adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations
  • Supporting the wider butchery team as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Butcher or Butcher's Knife Hand, with strong knife skills and meat cutting ability
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including weekends and public holidays
