About the College

Founded in 1980, Christian College Geelong is a K-12 school where academic achievement is balanced with care and concern for each student's character development and wellbeing, grounded in the Christian faith. We have five campuses across Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast region as well as a rural experience for Year 9 students at an expansive farm property in Scotsburn, near Ballarat, and a unique Art, Technology and Design campus for Senior School students in Waurn Ponds.

THE ROLE

Christian College Geelong is looking for enthusiastic and qualified Primary Teachers to join our team commencing 22 January 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, a love for working with young children, and a commitment to fostering their academic and personal growth.

There are multiple full time positions available in Junior years at our Bellarine, Junior and Surf Coast campuses in both fixed term and ongoing roles.

WHAT YOU BRING

Are you an enthusiastic educator with a passion for primary years education? To thrive in this role, you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in teaching Primary Students as well as:

  • Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
  • Commitment to child safety
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are passionate about impacting students' minds and hearts and for providing a safe, supportive learning environments
  • Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
  • Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Alignment with the Christian values and ethos of our College.
