What's the opportunity?
Our ideal candidate has managed residential and commercial files, end-to-end, with experience across all transaction types to suit our varied client base. The role is being offered as a full-time 12-month contract with the opportunity to discuss ongoing employment upon expiry for the right candidate.
The role encompasses a varied portfolio and you can expect to be responsible for:
- Providing professional and senior-level assistance with the management and oversight of the end-to-end conveyancing process for private contracts for sale, property settlements, family and matrimonial transfers and land divisions
- Growing and nurturing your relationship with clients, colleagues and other external stakeholders including real estate agents, brokers and banks
- Preparation of electronic payments using PEXA to complete settlements and payments of outstanding rates and taxes (being able to sign off transactions is desirable but not a requirement)
- Using online platforms and portals to conduct searches, lodge applications and documents
- Demonstrate full compliance with regulations governing Trust Account use and operation
What are our non-negotiables?
Aside from a professional nature and an 'all-in' attitude towards our team culture, you'll also have:
- 3+ years' experience in a Conveyancing or File Manager role, running your own files
- Strong knowledge of property law and external factors influencing our industry
- A natural ability to master the details in pursuit of delivering a high-quality client experience
- Experience using PEXA and online platforms to conduct searches and lodge applications
- A sound understanding of Trust Account regulations
